Obituary
Helen Katherine Latta, 100, died Saturday, October 20, 2012 in Topeka, KS. She was born October 21, 1911 in Holton, the daughter of Edgar C. and Ruth Tudor Latta.
Helen graduated from Holton High School in 1929 and received her BS in Home Economics from Kansas State University. She worked as a Dietician for several St. Louis, MO hospitals. She was the head Dietician at Barnes & Jewish Hospitals, where she retired in 1977. Helen moved to Topeka in 2000. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Topeka. She delivered Meals on Wheels and was a member of P.E.O.
Helen was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, John and Robert Latta and a sister, Mary Lou Latta. Helen is survived by nieces and nephews.
Helen was cremated. A memorial service will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 30, 2012 at Presbyterian Manor in Topeka. Inurnment will be in Holton Cemetery.
