ROBINSON
Harvey C. Robinson, 94, of Topeka, formerly of Holton, died Sunday, December 10, 2006 in Topeka. He was born August 14, 1912 in Sabetha, KS, the son of Ario B. and Emma M. Robinson. He attended Sabetha High School and farmed in the Sabetha area until 1954.
Mr. Robinson then lived in Holton, working for Goodyear in Topeka from 1954 to 1974 and as a house painter from '74 to '87. He was a former member of the First Presbyterian Church and had been attending the Seabrook Congregational Church in Topeka.
He was married to Emma Charlotte Middendorf on December 10, 1935 in Fairview, KS. She died June 9, 2001. An infant daughter, Charlotte Ann Robinson also preceded him in death in 1938.
Survivors include 5 daughters; Carolyn Bickford of Pahrump, NV, Judy Cornelssen of San Diego, CA, Marjorie Robinson of Rogers, AR, Nancy Robinson of Topeka, KS and Rosi Robinson of Overland Park, KS, 7 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 14, 2006 at the Mercer Funeral Home in Holton. Burial will be in the Capioma Cemetery, north of Wetmore. Family will greet friends from 7-8:00 p.m. Wednesday evening at the funeral home. Memorials may be given to the Heartland Hospice c/o Mercer Funeral Home P.O. Box 270, Holton, KS 66436.
