Harold B. Moss, II

Harold Bruce Moss, II, 72, of Mayetta, KS, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, April 19, 2026 at Stormont Vail Hospital in Topeka. He was born October 19, 1953 in Milwaukee, WI, the son of Harold Bruce Moss, Sr. and Caroline (Redzinski) Moss.

Harold graduated from Burlington High School in Burlington, WI. During high school, Harold was a member of Boy Scout of America, earning his Eagle Scout and Honor Medal by the National Court of Honor.

He was an over-the-road truck driver for over 35 years; traveling through many states. He owned and operated his own truck for a few years and had worked for several companies.

He married Sylvia K. "Chaz" Whitefish on June 13, 1981 in Wabeno, WI. They celebrated over 44 years of marriage.

Survivors include his wife, Sylvia "Chaz" of the home; his children, Harold Bruce Moss III of Mayetta, KS, Adam J. Moss (Toni) of Neenah, WI and Danielle K. Moss (Patrick Potts) of Mayetta, KS; 3 brothers, Robert C. Moss (Debra) of Georgia, Thomas Moss of Maine and Lawrence Moss of Wisconsin and 3 grandchildren, Callie Moss, Harold B. Moss IV and Daylen Potts.

He was preceded by his parents; a brother, David “Harpo” Moss and granddaughter, Caroline Isabelle Shepard-Moss.

Memorial Services will be at a later date in Wabeno, WI. Memorials may be given to Mercer Funeral Home to help with expenses sent to P.O. Box 270, Holton, KS 66436.
