Harold L. Lewis, 95, of Mayetta, KS, formerly of Holton, KS, passed away Monday, June 26, 2023 at his daughter's home, with family by his side. He was born March 2, 1928 in Balch, AR, the son of Thomas Richard and Ader Belle (Gill) Lewis.

Harold lived in the Jackson County communities since 1960. He retired from Jackson County Road and Bridge after 10 years.

He married Allie May Brandon on December 25, 1947 in Arkansas; she preceded him in death on November 8, 1987. He was also preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Ader Lewis; a son, Bobby Lewis and 4 siblings.

Survivors include his daughters, Linda Bryan and Patsy Lundin (John) both of Mayetta, KS; sister, Stella Mae Ferris of Billings, MT and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 1:00 – 3:30 p.m. Thursday, July 6, 2023 at the Mercer Funeral Home in Holton. Memorials may be given to Midland Care Hospice c/o Mercer Funeral Home, P.O. Box 270, Holton, KS 66436.
