HOLTON- Ella Grace Stotts, 89, of Holton, died Monday, March 06, 2006 at a Holton care facility.
She was born January 20, 1917 near Havensville, the daughter of Ralph Ivan and Florence Nell Nicholas Clements. She graduated from Havensville High School in 1935.
Grace lived in Madisonville, KY from 1964 to 1982. She then lived in Topeka before moving to Holton 5 years ago. She was a member of Northland Christian Church in Topeka.
She was married to Joseph L. Stotts on June 7, 1939 at Havensville. He died March 24, 1984. She was also preceded in death by a grandson, Randy Stotts, a sister, Glenna Johnstone and a brother, Harland Clements.
Survivors include 3 sons, Dari Kent Stotts and Stanley David Stotts both of Mayetta and Stephen Dale Stotts of Topeka, 2 daughters, Carolyn Jo Weir of Desert Hills, AZ and Stephanie Jean Stotts of Mayetta, 4 sisters, Lorraine Oates of Pasadena,TX, Rosa Lee Brennan of Lakewood, CO, Phyllis Clements of Denver, CO, Sharon Lane of Holton; 4 brothers, Clinton Clements of Denver, CO, Ward Clements of Fairfield, IA, Dale Clements of Holton, Gary Clements of Parkville, MO; 12 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 1 great great granddaughter.
Services will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday, March 9, 2006 at the Mercer Funeral Home in Holton. Burial will be in Holton Cemetery. She will lie in state until service time at the funeral home.
