REAMER
HOLTON- Grace Evelyn Reamer, 84, of Holton, KS passed away Sunday September 14, 2008 at Medicalodges Jackson County. She was born May 23, 1924 in Holton, KS the daughter of Nels and Agnes Boettcher Rasmussen.
Mrs. Reamer graduated from Holton High School in 1943. After graduation she attended Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, IL. She was a lifelong member of the Holton community as a homemaker and farmwife. She was a member of the 1st Baptist Church in Holton and served as nursery and cradle roll superintendent for many years.
She married Walter Edgar Reamer on May 1, 1949 in Holton, KS. He passed away January 13, 1995. Survivors include two daughters, Sharon Boyd and husband, David of Holton, Mary Wilson and husband, Paul of Bacolod City, Negros Occidental, Philippines; her son, David Reamer and wife, Kathy of Holton and 4 grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 17, 2008 at Mercer Funeral Home in Holton. Burial will be in the Holton Cemetery. Family will greet friends from 6:30 – 8:00 p.m. Tuesday evening at the funeral home. Memorials may be given to the Grace Reamer Memorial Fund sent c/o Mercer Funeral Home P.O. Box 270, Holton, KS 66436.
