LUSCOMBE
HOLTON- Geraldine Irene Luscombe, 83, of Holton, passed away Saturday, January 19, 2008 at Medicalodges Jackson County. She was born March 1, 1924, the daughter of Clarence and Agnes Velma Shingelton Heiselman.
She attended Holton schools and lived in Holton all of her life. She worked at Snappy lunch, The Jolly Troll and was a cook at the Holton Hospital. She was also a homemaker.
Survivors include her daughters, Sharon Hennis of Holton, KS, Cheryl Hamlin of Circleville, KS and Lea Stewart of Topeka, KS; her brother, Therll Heiselman of Holton, KS; 10 grandchildren and 18 great- grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her infant daughter, Maureen, her sister, Mildred Gindro and her infant sister, Thelia.
The family will greet friends at the Mercer Funeral Home in Holton beginning at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 22, 2008. There will be a short service at 2:45 p.m. Interment will follow in the Holton Cemetery. Memorial may be made to the Jackson County Senior Citizens Center c/o Mercer Funeral Home, Box 270, Holton, KS 66436.
