Kansas City, KS- Gerald Dean Oden, 85, of Kansas City, KS passed away December 25, 2008 at Shawnee Mission Medical Center.
He was an over the road truck driver retiring from ABF Freightlines . After retiring he moved to Rogers, AR for 13 years.
He is survived by his wife Audrey; 3 daughters, Cheryl Huffstutter and her husband Ron of Dearborn, MO, Jan Kriss and her husband, Terry of Overland Park, KS, Kaelyn Higgins and her husband, Pat of Basehor, KS and 5 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by 2 brothers Dale and Max Oden.
Mr. Oden was cremated. Graveside service will be 11:00a.m. Saturday, April 4, 2009 at the Holton Cemetery. Memorials may be given to the Presbyterian Manor of Kansas City c/o Mercer Funeral Home P.O. Box 270, Holton, KS 66436.
