George Blaine Williams, 87, of Topeka, KS passed away March 11, 2024 in Holton, KS. He was born August 30, 1936, the son of Clinton and Charolotte (Ruhl) Williams.

He graduated from Washburn Rural High School in 1955 and attended Washburn University.

George worked for Southwestern Bell for almost 10 years and later worked for the State of Kansas as a Telecommunication Specialist where he retired.

He was an avid hunter, mainly hunting pheasant, quail and deer. He also loved water skiing and traveling with his wife, Elaine. He was a past member of the VFW, Masonic Lodge, and an active member along with his wife of the Wanamaker Woods Nazarene Church for over 30 years. George proudly served in the United States Army.

George married J. "Elaine" Smith on November 17, 1957 at the Westside Christian Church in Topeka, KS. She survives of the home along with their beloved dog, Sugar.

Other survivors include a son Jon Brandon Williams of Inola, OK; a daughter, Heather Crispin (Cris) of Holton, KS; 6 grandchildren; Mitchell Hampton (Brittany) of Wichita, KS, Conner Hampton (Lorenzo) of New York, NY, Brenden Hampton (Ashlynn) of Houston, TX, Amanda Randa (Brett) of Hays, KS, Erin Burrell (Adam) of Hays, KS and Andrew Crispin of Holton; 8 great grandchildren, Maddix, Trip, Melody, Aydyn, Cooper, James, Marleigh and Holden; 3 sister-in-law's, Janice Heaps (Mel) of Broomfield, CO, Barbara Jo Means (Jim) of Littleton, CO and Glenda Sue Senne of Topeka, KS.

George was preceded in death by 2 brother-in-law's, Larry Smith and Stan Senne; 2 great grandchildren, Reed and Rowan.

Memorial Service will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 18, 2024 at the Mercer Funeral Home in Holton. Family will greet friends one hour prior to service time. Memorials may be given to the Heart of Jackson Humane Society c/o Mercer Funeral Home, P.O. Box 270, Holton, KS 66436.
