Gale Dora Crawshaw, 62, Topeka, died Thursday, Jan. 1, 2015, at a Topeka hospital.

She was born Sept. 4, 1952, at Topeka, the daughter of Cody Custer and Burna Lee Nelson Crawshaw. Gale attended school at Elmont, Williamstown and Valley Falls.

She had been a resident at Sunflower Supports Adult Services in Topeka. She had attended University United Methodist Church in Topeka.

Gale was preceded in death by her parents, and a brother, Dennis Cody Crawshaw.

Survivors include a brother, Benton (Sharon) Crawshaw, Valley Falls; nephew, James Benton Crawshaw, Topeka; niece, Deborah (Bryce) Carroll, Dallas, TX; and great-niece, Gracie Carroll.

The funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 3, 2015, at Mercer Funeral Home in Valley Falls. Burial will follow at Bloomfield Cemetery, north of Meriden.
