Frankie Marie Ludlow, 71, of Emporia, KS after living a very full life, she passed away peacefully with dignity and grace on Wednesday, September 2, 2015 at Medicalodge Jackson County. She was born March 30, 1944 in Kansas City, MO the daughter of Charles Redmond and Caroline Elberta (Davis) Byrd.

Frankie married Charles "Jerry" Ludlow on June 18, 1960 in Kansas City, KS. He preceded her in death on December 6, 2004. She was also preceded in death by 2 sisters, Clydale Cross and Bennie Fenner.

Survivors include 2 daughters, Kimberly Moore (Ted) and Remi Twombly (Allen) both of Holton, KS; 2 sons, Paul Ludlow (Jaime) and Eric Ludlow both of Whiting, KS; 2 sisters, D.J. McMurray of Apache Junction, AZ and Katie Bragg of Elkhart, IN; a brother, Dale Harman (Barbara) of Denison, KS; 15 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, 5 step-grandchildren and 2step- great-grandchildren.

Frankie is also survived by her friends at Broadview Towers of Emporia; where she had lived for the last 16 years. They meant as much to her as she did to them; they were a second family and she loved each and every one of them.

Frankie's wishes were to be cremated. Celebration of Life will be at a later date. Memorials may be given to Broadview Towers of Emporia c/o Mercer Funeral Home, P.O. Box 270, Holton, KS 66436. Mercer Funeral Home in Holton is in charge of arrangements.
