MILLER
HOLTON-Frances W. Miller, 89, formerly of Holton, died November 1, 2007 at a Rossville Nursing Home. She was born June 2, 1918 the daughter of Arthur Thomas and Mary Emilene Raye Wilmore.
She graduated from Hutchinson High School in 1936. She had lived in Holton since 2003 and previously lived in Calimesa, CA. She had worked in an airplane factory in California during WWII and also worked in an airplane factory in Wichita, KS. She worked as an electronic circuitry inspector for Bourns Inc. in Riverside, CA for 25 years before her retirement.
She married Elgin R. Miller on April 22, 1938 in Hutchison, KS. He died August 8, 2000. She was also preceded in death by 2 daughters Betty Ruth Miller, Doris Ann Pelton and one son Ronald Elgin Miller.
Survivors include her daughter Karen Weygandt of Nampa, ID, her son-in-law, Leonard Pelton of Mayetta, KS; 12 grandchildren, including Hope Hall of Holton, KS, Kevin Pelton of Denison, KS and many great grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, November 5, 2007 at the Mercer Funeral Home in Holton, KS. Burial will be in the Desert Lawn Park Cemetery in Yucaipa, CA. Memorials may be given to Midland Hospice c/o Mercer Funeral Home, P.O. Box 270, Holton, KS 66436.
