Aletha "Florence" Hutchins, 87, of Holton, KS passed away January 23, 2013. She was born February 28, 1925 in Jackson County, KS the daughter of Charles and Edith (Coleman) Barrow.

Florence lived in the Holton community for over 30 years. She was a homemaker and a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church.

She married Robert H. Hutchins January 8, 1945 in Lyndon, KS. He preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Wanda Potter; sisters, Mary Anderson, Elsie Zacharias, Carol Martell and Ruth Barrow and brothers, Vernon and Willis Barrow.

Survivors include a daughter, Linda Bohnenkemper (Gary) of Holton, KS; 2 sons, Dr. Joel Hutchins (Becky) of Holton, KS and Jerry Hutchins of Arrington, KS; 2 sisters, Doris Clemons of Topeka, KS, Vera Blanton in Florida; a brother, Marion "Pete" Barrow (Ilene) in Missouri; 10 grandchildren, William Bounds (Lorraine), Christine Breshears Roger), Beth Schneider, Bonnie Bower (Dennis), Allen Bohnenkemper (Lisa), Mindy Bohnenkemper, Haley Montgomery Dan), Robert Hutchins, Jennifer Sherber (Ben) and Emily Esparza (Tony); 20 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.

Memorial service will be 3:00 p.m. Thursday, January 31, 2013 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Holton. Memorials are suggested to Jackson County Friends of Hospice or Trinity Lutheran Church c/o Mercer Funeral Home P.O. Box 270, Holton, KS 66436.
