Flodell Harding, 92, of Seneca, KS, formerly of Holton, KS, passed away Wednesday, November 29, 2023 at Life Care Center in Seneca, KS. She was born March 8, 1931 in Retrop, OK, the daughter of Alvin Alonzo and Nannie Pauline (Bradley) Fox.

Flodell attended school in Laughton, OK. She was a homemaker and also worked for Southwestern Bell, Walmart and Slimaker Dress Factory.

Flodell married George Douglas Harding on March 27, 1948 in Wichita Falls, TX. He preceded her in death on August 28, 2021.

She was also preceded in death by her parents, Alvin and Nannie Fox; sister, Wyvonne Jarvis and 2 brothers, James Sanford Fox and Lonnie Denton Fox.

Survivors include 2 sons, Gary R. Harding (Sharon) of Meriden, KS and Alan "Keith" Harding (Terri) of Mayetta, KS; daughter, Sherri Steinlage (Daniel) of Corning, KS; a sister, Diesta Owens of Ft. Worth, TX; 2 brothers, Ronald Fox (Barbara) and Dennis Fox (Marnell) both of Ft. Worth, TX; 7 grandchildren, Casey, Kelly, Cody, Timothy, Shawna, Jessica, and Brian, and 5 great-grandchildren, Olivia, Taryn, Connal, Dylan, and Sara.

Memorial Graveside Service will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, December 28, 2023 at the Holton Cemetery. Mercer Funeral Home in Holton is in charge of arrangements.
