Obituary

Ethabelle "Bonnie" Kranz, 82, Denison, died Saturday, Oct. 2, 2010, at the Holton Community Hospital. She was born on Sept. 19, 1928, at Goff, the daughter of Eldon and Evelyn Smith Claycamp. She graduated from Circleville High School in 1947.
Bonnie was a homemaker and farmed with her husband, Clarence, east of Denison. She worked at the A & B Grocery Store in Denison for 20 Years. She was a member of the Evangelical United Methodist Church at Holton and the Ladies Auxiliary of Disabled American Veterans.
She married Clarence F. Kranz on June 1, 1947, at Wamego. He survives. She was preceded in death by six brothers, Eugene Claycamp, Ervin Claycamp, Emmett Claycamp, Ernest Claycamp, Edwin Claycamp and Everett Claycamp and one sister, Ellen Davis.
Survivors include a son, Ron Kranz, and his wife Marlene, Holton, two daughters, Karen McCrory, and her husband, Glen, and Nancy Bell, and her husband George, all of Rossville; two brothers, Edgar Claycamp, Wetmore, and Ed Claycamp, Topeka; eight grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
The funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 5, 2010, at Mercer Funeral Home in Holton. Burial will follow at the Denison Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:30-8:00 p.m., Monday. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Logan McCrory fund, a great-grandson, for his ongoing spinal bifida medical expenses or to the Holton Community Hospital.
