Esther Louise Larson, 101, of Holton, Kansas passed away Sunday December 15, 2013 at Deseret Health and Rehab in Onaga, Kansas.

Esther was born June 21, 1912 to August and Louise (Lundeman) Weber in Shady Brock, Kansas. On May 20, 1941, Esther married Algert H. (Bud) Larson and was with him until the time of his passing on August 26, 1991. She and Bud both owned and operated the Gambles Store in Holton, Kansas for 45 years. Esther was a resident of Holton for the last 72 years of her life, and was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church of Holton.

Esther is preceded in death by her husband Algert H. Larson, her daughter Karen Faye OnuFrock, her sisters Ida and Rose, her brother August Weber Jr., and one grandchild Richard (Ricky) OnuFrock.

She is survived by her son Howard Larson and his wife Cheryl of Holton, KS, her grandchildren Cory Larson and his wife Addie of Holton, KS, Tammy Larson of Topeka, KS, Amy Owsenek and her husband Brian of Virginia, and her great grandchildren Anya Owsenek, Asher Larson, Lexie Larson, and Ellis Larson.
