Estelline H. "Estie" Brandon, 85, of Topeka passed away Sunday, February 16, 2014 at Rolling Hills Retirement Community in Topeka.

She was born June 2, 1928 in Wilson, TX the daughter of Calvin and Ruth Pearl (Wilson) Fine. Estie had previously lived in the Mayetta community for 26 years and had resided in Topeka since 2000. She was employed by the State of Kansas with the Department of Revenue and was also a homemaker. On January 25, 1947 Estie married Arville D. Brandon in Amarillo, TX. He preceded her in death on November 2, 2000.

She is survived by: her daughter, Linda F. Allen (Harold) of Topeka, KS; her sons, Kenneth W. Brandon (Bobbie) of Riverton, IL and Bobby L. Brandon (Angela) of Mt. Vernon, MO; her sisters, Dorothy Dearman of Amarillo, TX, Fay Ruth Hall of Midland, TX and Janice Kadlecek (Frank) of Citrus Heights, CA; her brother, Joe N. Fine of California; 11 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and 27 great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband Estie was also preceded in death by her infant daughter Doris Lee Brandon, her sister, Arva Jean Fine and her brothers, Clifford F. Fine and Ambrose Fine.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 21, 2014 at the Mercer Funeral Home in Holton. Interment will follow in Holton Cemetery. The family will greet friends Thursday evening from 6:30-7:30 at the funeral home.
