ERNA M. MILLER
HOLTON- Erna M. Miller, 90, of Holton, KS, died Thursday, November 8, 2007 at Medicalodges Jackson County in Holton. She was born March 15, 1917 in Eldon, MO, the daughter of Paul and Lucy Vaughn Kelsay.
Mrs. Miller had worked as a beautician for Ethel Wallisch in Holton and later owned and operated her own beauty salon in Kansas City, KS. She lived in Kansas City for 53 years and moved back to Holton in 1998. She had also been a china painter for several years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Holton.
She was married to Raymond Omer Miller on July 31, 1948 in Eldon, MO. He passed away on March 22, 2002. She was also preceded in death by a sister and 4 brothers. Survivors include her sister, LaVonne Smith of Denison, KS and many nieces and nephews.
Services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, November 12, 2007 at the Mercer Funeral Home in Holton, KS. Interment will be in Holton Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday morning at the funeral home. Memorials may be given to the First Baptist Church c/o Mercer Funeral Home, Box 270, Holton, KS 66436.
