CIRCLEVILLE- Emeline "Emily" (Russell) Berryhill, 60, of Circleville, KS, passed away Friday, December 2, 2022 at her home. She was born August 19, 1962 in Oakland, CA, the daughter of Asa and Josephine (Clark) Russell.

She graduated from Sherman Indian High School in Riverside, CA. She worked at Prairie Band Casino and Resort for 15 years and most recently at One Stop Gas Station.

Emily was a member of the San Carlos Apache Tribe in Arizona.

Emily married Larry "Mik-se-ni" Berryhill; he preceded her in death on October 28, 2012. She was also preceded in death by 3 sisters, Marlene Russell, Peggy Gilson and Kathy Garcia and a brother, Kenneth Russell.

Survivors include 2 daughters, Josette Berryhill of Circleville, KS and Justine Wakole (Wishkno) of Mayetta, KS; brother, Willis Russell of CA and 3 grandchildren, Lili, Eli and Kyson.

Family will greet friends from 5:00 – 6:30 p.m. Tuesday evening, December 6, 2022 at the Mercer Funeral Home in Holton. Graveside Service will be 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 7, 2022 at Josette Rice Homeplace.
