Topeka - Elizabeth Irene Cobb, 35, went to be with God, July 23, 2018, in Topeka, Kansas, almost one year after her beloved grandmother, Phyllis Mae Cobb, passed away on July 24, 2017, in Holton, Kansas. Elizabeth's survivors include her son, Devin Haney, 18, an outstanding student-athlete at Northern Illinois University; her parents, Ronald Lee Cobb (Kathleen) of Holton, Kansas and Jennifer Evans (Jones) Hanksmeyer of St. Peters, Missouri; her brother, David Albert Cobb (Marce) of Rose Hill, Kansas; her stepsister, Bonnie Barnett of Holton, Kansas and nephews Lathe Cobb and Teagan Cobb. Elizabeth was born in Humana Hospital in Overland Park, Kansas, on March 28, 1983, she attended grade school in Topeka, high school in Overland Park and had attended Lindenwood University in Saint Louis, Missouri. Memorial services will be held at Mercer Funeral Home in Holton, Kansas, on Thursday, July 26, 2018 at 11:00 am, led by Rev. Kelly Sipes of Evangel Methodist Church of Holton.
