Eleanor Flo Worner, 73, Valley Falls, died Thursday, Dec. 11, 2008, at the Jefferson County Senior Living Center at Winchester.
She was born on Feb. 5, 1935, south of Larkinburg, the daughter of Elmer L. and Edith F. Simons Worner. She was a member of the Valley Falls United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Elmer Worner and Ernest Worner and two sisters, Edith Hildman and Effie Lederer. Survivors include a brother, Edward J. Worner, Kansas City, KS, and three sisters, Esther Butkovich, Blue Springs, MO, and Elaine Worner and Emmagene Williams, both of Valley Falls.
The funeral service will be at 1:30, p.m. Sunday, Dec. 14, 2008, at
Mercer Funeral Home in Valley Falls. Burial will be at the Valley Falls Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be made to the Valley Falls United Methodist Church or to Jefferson County Home Health and sent in care of the funeral home, 810 Broadway, Valley Falls, KS 66088.
