Eldon Leroy Buehler, 87, of Holton, KS passed away February 10, 2013 at Medicalodge Jackson County. He was born August 6, 1925 at home in Jackson County, KS the son of Charles Leonard and Edna Estella (Crozier) Buehler.

Eldon lived in the Holton, Denison and Mayetta communities for most of his life. After school he enlisted with the United States Army. Eldon was honorably discharged and returned to the area to farm; he later worked for Goodyear Tire Company and retired after 30 years.

Eldon married Betty Jane Curran on May 6, 1948. She preceded him in death on November 15, 2007. He was also preceded in death by 2 sisters, Evelyn Dodson and Erma Coleman and 2 brothers, Harvey and Iven Buehler.

Survivors include 2 sons, Thomas E. Buehler of Mayetta, KS and Dr. Richard L. Buehler of Chonburi, Thailand and a daughter, Lisa D. Buehler of Topeka, KS.

Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, February 14, 2013 at the Mercer Funeral Home in Holton. Burial will be in the Holton Cemetery.
