Edward A. "Bud" Subjack, 84, of Holton, KS formerly of Overbrook, passed away October 9, 2013 at Stormont Vail Hospital in Topeka.

He was born December 2, 1928 in Northfield, OH the son of Andrew and Ann (Kamilovic) Subjack. He proudly served in the United States Navy during the Korean Conflict.

Edward had lived in Holton since April of 2013. He had previously lived in Overbrook for over 20 years and also San Jose, CA. He was a furniture salesman for many years.

Edward married Bobbie Young on October 4, 1979 in Reno, NV. She survives of the home. He is also survived by his children, Patricia Huzier (Joe) of Madera, CA, Tommie Subjack of Madera, CA, Carolyn Simmons (Monty) of Roseville, CA, Earline Roach (Art) of Loomis, CA, Greg Elder (Jeannie) of Grants Pass, OR, Jon Elder (Ilene) of Cool, CA and Carlos Elder (Cheryl) of Holton, KS; a sister, Evelyn Raymond (Frank) of Ohio; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by 2 sons, Eddie and David Subjack and 3 sisters, Stella, Genevive and Florence.

Per Edwards wishes, he was cremated and services will be at a later date. Memorials may be made to the Edward Subjack Memorial Fund and may be sent in care of Mercer Funeral Home, P.O. Box 270, Holton, KS 66436.
