Duane Alan Rieschick, 54, of Holton, KS, passed away on Tuesday, December 10, 2024. He was born October 3, 1970 in Holton, KS, the son of Clyde "Wayne" and Theresa Colleen (Clements) Rieschick.

He was born and raised in Jackson County, graduating from Jackson Heights High School in 1989. He was a lifelong resident of the county.

Duane was a lifelong farmer and stockman; however, he also worked for Morton Buildings, P.T.M.W., building control houses for the railroad, and most recently he was working in sales for American Wholesale Lumber.

Duane married Jena Joan Jenson on November 27, 1993 in Holton, KS. She preceded him in death on March 11, 2011.

He married Robin Renea Martin on April 24, 2015 in Holton, KS.

Survivors include his wife, Robin, of the home; his parents, Wayne and Theresa Rieschick of Soldier, KS; 4 sons, Andrew Rieschick (Melinda) of Topeka, KS and Justin Rieschick (Michaela) of Wichita, KS, Sheldon and Marquez Conley both of Holton, KS; 3 step-children, Sarah Benedict of Wetmore, KS, Anthony Martin (Megan) of Netawaka, KS, and Lucas Deppe of Mayetta, KS; 2 sisters, Kindra Boehm (David) of Paola, KS and Lisa Hill (Jason) of Clayton, NC; a brother, Kevin Rieschick (Julianna) of Wichita, KS; 6 grandchildren, Faith, Mattie, James, Ava, Cora, Maddyn, and one great-grandson, Kingston.

Funeral Service will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, December 14, 2024 at the Mercer Funeral Home in Holton. Burial will follow at Denison Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 4:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. Friday, December 13, 2024 at the funeral home. Duane will lie-in-state Thursday from noon until 6:00 p.m. Memorials may be given to J.C.W.C.
