Dorothy Lee Keithline, 80, of Topeka formerly of Netawaka, died May 5, 2007 at St. Francis Hospital in Topeka. She was born October 5, 1926 in rural Netawaka. She was the daughter of Jeff D. and Roxie Mae Harris Humphries.
She worked at Slimaker Dress Factory. She and her husband owned and operated Gils Station in Netawaka for twenty years.
She married Gilbert N. Keithline on April 4, 1942 in Holton. He preceded her in death on November 7, 1995. She was also preceded by a son, Gilbert "Terry" Keithline; an infant daughter, Susan Kaye Keithline; sister, Marge Bell; brothers, Sam and Donald Humphries. She is survived by a daughter, Diana Lea Miller of Topeka; son, Gale Nelson Keithline of Evergreen, CO; sister, Kathryn Gerlach of Haysville; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 8, 2007 at Mercer Funeral Home in Holton. Burial will be in the Netawaka Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday evening at the funeral home.
