Obituary
Doris I. Bontrager, 78, of Holton, KS passed away Saturday, October 19, 2013 at Medicalodge Jackson County. She was born April 5, 1935 in Wetmore, KS the daughter of Donald and Helen M. (Meers) Bontrager.
Doris graduated from Holton High School in 1953. She had worked many years for the family business, Craig's IGA, until it sold. Doris then worked for Ron's IGA until she retired. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church and Holton Business Women.
She was preceded in death by a sister, L. "Ruth" Craig and 2 brothers, Gerald "Jerry" and Calvin Bontrager.
Survivors include a brother, Harold Bontrager of Sedona, AZ and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Doris was cremated. Private family services will be at a later date. Memorials may be given the First United Methodist Church c/o Mercer Funeral Home, P.O. Box 270, Holton, KS 66436. Please stop by to sign the guestbook or leave a memorial.
