Donna Rae Carriker, 89, of Mayetta, KS, passed away Friday, December 13, 2024 at Midland Hospice in Topeka. She was born February 25, 1935 in Omaha, NE, the daughter of Jesse Clarence and Gladys Mildren (Turner) Phillips.

Donna proudly served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War. She later earned her GED and later a certificate in Interior Design. She belonged to the Mayetta Community for 19 years and before lived in Council Bluff, IA. She was a homemaker most of her life.

She was a member of the Mayetta Christian Church.

Donna married Samuel Delbert Carriker on May 28, 1955 at Lackland, AFB in San Antonio, TX. He preceded her in death on March 15, 2018. They celebrated over 62 years of marriage. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Jesse and Gladys Phillips; son, Keith Carriker; sister, Beverly Jensen; brother, Gerald Phillips and 2 grandsons.

Survivors include 4 sons, Terry Carriker (Trill) of Porter, WA, Gene Carriker (Dona) of Rochester, MN, Zane Carriker of Sarasota, FL and Mark Carriker (Teresa) of Hoquiam, WA; 3 daughters, Beth Carriker of Mayetta, KS, Jude Gentry (Russ) of Mayetta, KS and Wendy Miller (Bill) of Lancaster, KS; 29 grandchildren; 49 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.

Funeral Service will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 20, 2025 at the Mercer Funeral Home in Holton. Burial will follow at the Mayetta Cemetery with Military Honors.
