Donna Rae Buck, 74, of Holton, KS, passed away Saturday, January 23, 2021 at Kindred Northland Hospital in Kansas City, MO. She was born September 28, 1946 in Kansas City, KS, the daughter of Paul W. and Delphia A. (Loesing) Rankin.

Donna graduated from Washington High School in 1964 in Kansas City, KS. She lived in the Holton Community since 2011 and previously in Kansas City and Tonganoxie. Donna was a homemaker.

She was a member of First Baptist Church in Holton.

Donna married Patrick Edward "Ed" Buck on December 11, 1964 at Judson Baptist Church in Kansas City, KS. They celebrated over 56 years of marriage.

Survivors include her husband, Ed of the home; daughter, Beth Sasnett (Tim) of Lansing, KS; son, Steve Buck (Janell) of Soldier, KS; sister, Judy Hawley of Independence, MO; brother, Bill Rankin (Kay) of Elkland, MO; 8 grandchildren, Crystal, Cameron, Caitlyn, Caullen, Jessica, Jill, Josie and Jennifer and 4 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Robert Rankin, Sr.

Funeral Services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 28, 2021 at the Mercer Funeral Home in Holton. Burial will follow at the Soldier Cemetery. Family will greet friends from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. Wednesday evening at the funeral home. Masks are suggested.
