Donald Kelly Smith, 64, of Wetmore died Sunday, August 21, 2011 at Midland Hospice House in Topeka. He was born August 21, 1947 in East Stroudsburg, PA, the son of Robert Clinton and Mary Alice Hoffert Smith.
Donald spent most of his life in East Stroudsburg, he moved to Wetmore about 4 years ago. He did construction and landscaping.
Donald married Donna Gearhart on August 18, 1979 in Stroudsburg, PA. She survives. He is survived by his children, Anthony (Lori) Smith of Soldier, KS, Nicholas Smith of San Diego, CA, Timothy (Laurie) Smith of Ventura, CA, Rapheal Dillon of Georgia and Marylou (Alan) Humphrey of West Middle-Sex, PA; a sister, Maryalice (James) Frailey of Albuquerque, NM and 10 grandchildren.
Donald was cremated. A private family inurnment will be at a later date. Memorials may be given to the Donald Smith Memorial Fund to be designated at a later date c/o Mercer Funeral Home, PO Box 270, Holton, KS 66436.
