GOFF- Donald L. Bishop, 68, of Goff, KS passed away at his home on December 27, 2011 after a courageous battle with congestive heart failure. He was born March 1, 1943 in Milwaukee, WI the son of George and Katherine (Saharski) Bishop.

Don was a self-employed carpenter for over 45 years in Grand Junction, CO. He had served in the United States Army for 2 years.

Survivors include 2 nephews, Brett Kiefer (Jonette) of Goff, KS and Kurt Kiefer (Michele) of Soldier, KS; 7 granddaughters; 5 great nephews and 1 great niece.

He was preceded in death by his son, Donald Bishop, Jr; a nephew, Brian Kiefer and 2 brothers, George Kiefer and Ronald Bishop.

Don was cremated and private family inurnment will be at a later date. Memorials may be given to the Donald Bishop Memorial Fund c/o Mercer Funeral Home P.O. Box 270, Holton, KS 66436.
