Donald Criss Eteeyan, 48, of Topeka, KS, passed away Wednesday, April 23, 2025 at Stormont Vail Hospital. He was born September 8, 1976 in Lawrence, KS, the son of Donald Dwyitt Eteeyan and Jacqueline Jean Long.
Donald attended Haskell Indian Nation University. He was a transit driver for the Prairie Band Potawatomi Nation.
He was a member of Native American Church and Prairie Band Potawatomi Nation.
Survivors include his daughters, Pe-Sha and Pah-Shay Eteeyan both of Wichita, KS and Shandien Torres of Topeka, KS; sister, Doneka K. Eteeyan of Twinsburg, OH; brother, Abyah K. Eteeyan of Lecompton, KS and 4 grandchildren, Ismael, Ava, Azaelia and Kree. Nieces and Nephews, Abyah Jr.,Quamell Criss, Najahla, Aleena, Ezra and Onnalei Eteeyan.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Aizeiyah Eteeyan.
Graveside Service will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, April 28, 2025 at Prairie Peoples Cemetery. Donald will lie in state from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Sunday at the Mercer Funeral Home in Holton.
