HOLTON- Donald Dean Bradley, 92, of Holton, KS passed away Monday, May 9, 2011 at Medicalodge Jackson County. He was born November 15, 1918 in Holton the son of Harry J. and Mary May (Fricker) Bradley.
Don graduated from Holton High School in 1936 and was a lifelong farmer in Holton. He also worked as a clerk for the Holton Livestock for many years. He was a member of the Evangel United Methodist Church and the Volunteers Sunday School at the church, Odd Fellows Lodge, Banner Grange and Jackson County Livestock Assoc. all in Holton. Don was also involved with 4-H and was a member of the Bowling League for many years.
Don married Doris Jean Zibell on March 24, 1953 in Holton. She preceded him in death on April 17, 2000. He was also preceded by a sister, Virginia Roney.
Survivors include a son, Michael Dean Bradley (Nancy) of Holton.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, May 13, 2011 at Mercer Funeral Home in Holton. Interment will be in the Holton Cemetery. Family will greet friends from 7:00 – 8:00 p.m. Thursday evening at the funeral home.
