Obituary
Dolores I. "Dee" Anspaugh, 92, Topeka, died Tuesday, June 13, 2017, at Midland Care at Linnwood Park Home Plus at Valley Falls.
She was born Sept. 2, 1924, at Valley Falls, the daughter of Ralph and Elsie Bedwell Ferrell. She graduated from Valley Falls High School.
Dee was head cashier for Kansas Gas Co. in Topeka, retiring after 40 years of service. She had worked at Hallmark Cards Inc. in Topeka.
She was a 50 year member and Past Worthy Matron of Helena Chapter No. 210, Order of the Eastern Star, a member and past president of Topeka Assembly No. 24, Social Order of the Beauceant, Trinity Shrine No. 7, White Shrine of Jerusalem, and Topeka Council No. 1, Toltec, all in Topeka.
She married Dale Anspaugh, Sept. 1, 1956, at Lawrence. He died April 26, 1980.
Survivors include a brother, Keith Ferrell, Valley Falls.
A Memorial Graveside Service will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday, June 19, 2017, at the Valley Falls Cemetery with services by Helena Chapter No. 210, Order of the Eastern Star.
