Diana “KIWANKE” Lynn Wahquahboshkuk, 60, of Topeka, KS, passed away Saturday, May 30, 2026 at the Midland Hospice Care in Topeka, KS. She was born January 18, 1966 in Topeka, KS, the daughter of Wallace Leon Wahquahboshkuk, Sr. and Oliva K. (Marshno) Wahquahboshkuk.
Diana was a homemaker caring for her children and grandchildren. She was a member of Prairie Band Potawatomi Nation and Peyote Religion.
Survivors include her children, Crystal Marie Wahquahboshkuk of Kansas City, KS, Benjamin Hluz, Jr. of Topeka, KS, Rose Hluz-Espinoza (Victor) of Topeka, KS and Daniel Wahquahboshkuk of Topeka, KS; brother, Wallace L. Wahquahboshkuk, Jr. (Lori) of Topeka, KS; 9 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Wallace, Sr. and Olivia Wahquahboshkuk and 2 sisters, Annette Marie (Soto) Wahquahboshkuk and Renae L. Soto.
Visitation will be 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 2, 2026 at the Mercer Funeral Home in Holton. Peyote Services will be Wednesday afternoon, June 3, 2026 at the Native American Church. Burial will be Thursday morning, June 4, 2026 at Danceground Cemetery on the Prairie Band Potawatomi Reservation.
