Obituary
Delores Roxanne Smith, MA, RN, 79, of Centralia, KS formerly of Reston, VA and Sioux Rapids, IA passed away April 23, 2013 at Eastridge Nursing Home in Centralia, KS. She was born October 15, 1933 in Minneapolis, MN the daughter of Harold and Doris (Knudson) Arnold.
Delores graduated from high school in Sioux Rapids, IA and graduated from nursing school as a Registered Nurse in Orlando, FL. She was a Registered Nurse for various places and retired from Food and Drug Administration in Washington D.C.
Delores married Frank Smith, they later divorced and he preceded her in death on June 22, 2006. She was also preceded in death by a son, Grant W. Smith.
Survivors include 2 sons, Bradley Smith and Bryan Smith both of Topeka, KS.
Memorial graveside services will be Wednesday, May 1st, 2013 at 1:30 p.m. in Holton Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to American Red Cross and may be left in care of Mercer Funeral Home, P.O. Box 270, Holton, 66436.
