Delores Ann Nieman, 71, Winchester, formerly of Easton, died Friday, June 25, 2010, at the Senior Living Center at Winchester.
She was born on July 7, 1938, near Easton, the daughter of Marron John and Mildred I. Thorp Cropper. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church at Potter. She was a member of the Ladies Aide at the church.
She married Harland Eugene Nieman in 1957 at Potter. He died in 2005. She was also preceded in death by a son, Marland Nieman, and two brothers, Edward Cropper and Raymond Cropper.
Survivors include a son, David Allan Nieman, Atchison; three brothers, Marron Cropper, San Antonio, TX, Richard Cropper, Oskaloosa, and Ernest Cropper, Caney; four sisters, Elsie Kruse, Mena, AR, May Beam, Olathe, Mary Downs, Basehor, and Virginia Bowen, Valley Falls, and one granddaughter, Ashland Nieman.
Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 29, 2010, at the Valley Falls Cemetery. Family and friends will meet at Mercer Funeral Home in Valley Falls, prior to the service to go in procession to the cemetery.
