Della J. Callison, 96, Valley Falls, died Monday, Sept. 7, 2015, at F.W. Huston Senior Living Center at Winchester.

She was born Jan. 19, 1919, at Mountain Grove, MO, the daughter of Cyrus Edward and Dollie Pitts Callison. She attended Hoyt High School and graduated from Stewart's Cosmetology School in Topeka.

Della had worked for the Maintenance Dept. of the University of Kansas in Lawrence prior to her retirement. She had worked as a beautician in Topeka and at Sunflower Army Ammunition Plant in DeSoto.

Della's hobbies included oil painting and reading. She had attended the Valley Falls Christian Church.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Wallace Marion Callison; and two sisters, Margaret Hazel Stadel and Ruby Bausch.

Survivors include ten nephews and nieces and many great-nephews and great-nieces.

A Graveside Service will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday, Sept. 11, 2015, at Pleasant View Cemetery in Oskaloosa.
