ERLENMAIER
WETMORE-Dean A. Erlenmaier, 75, of Wetmore, died Wednesday, September 06, 2006 at the Apostolic Christian Home in Sabetha. He was born August 31, 1931 in Greenfield, OK, the son of Carl and Renee Wiese Erlenmaier.
He graduated from Greenfield High School in 1951. He had lived in Wetmore since 1974 and previously lived in Oklahoma. Mr. Erlenmaier was an over-the-road truck driver and cattle rancher. He drove a truck for Midwest Grain from Atchison.
He married Ruth Shumaker on May 17, 1958 in Topeka. She survives. Other survivors include 3 daughters; Carol Stallings of Oklahoma City, OK, Mary Schlittler of Newcastle, OK, Donna Tinklin of Goff; a sister, Marie Spriggs of Dallas, TX; 3 granddaughters and 3 great grandchildren.
Funeral service for Dean Erlenmaier will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, September 9, 2006 at the Mercer Funeral Home in Holton. Burial will be in the Wetmore Cemetery. Family will greet friends from 7:00- 8:00 p.m. Friday evening. Memorials may be given to the Wetmore EMT or Apostolic Christian Home c/o Mercer Funeral Home P.O. Box 270, Holton, Kansas 66436.
