MAYETTA – Davis Scofield, 65, of Mayetta passed away at his home on July 10, 2011, in the loving arms of his wife of 35 years, Connie L. Scofield, who will miss him greatly. He will also be missed by their children Brad & Hope Smith of Atchison, KS, Danny & Dee Smith of Circleville, KS, Karen & Eric Rickel of Vassar, KS, Marla Brandon of Mayetta, Jeff & Denise Smith of Effingham, KS; 18 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Davis was preceded in death by his parents, Burton & Mabel Stansbury Scofield, Sr. of Topeka.
Davis served his country for 4 years in Vietnam and worked for Hills Pet Food Products for 34 years. A private memorial will be held, but thoughts and prayers for the family are much appreciated.
