MAYETTA- David Michael Slocum, 26, of Mayetta, KS, passed away August 30, 2020 in Topeka. He was born February 10, 1994 in Holton, KS, the son of Michael E. and Debra G. (Fitzsimmons) Slocum.

David graduated from Royal Valley High School in 2012 and had attended Washburn University. He was currently attending Washburn Tech.

He was working at Southwest Publishing in Topeka. David was a member of Mayetta Christian Church.

Survivors include his parents, Michael and Debbie Slocum of Mayetta, KS; sister, Carilyn E. Slocum of Holton, KS; brother, Robert J. Slocum (Ruth) of Mayetta, KS; niece, Willow and 3 nephews, Vinny, Cooper and Eli.

Memorial Service will be 5:00 P.M. Thursday, September 10, 2020 at the Mercer Funeral Home in Holton, KS. Memorial contributions may be made to the David Slocum Memorial Fund c/o Mercer Funeral Home, P.O. Box 270, Holton, KS 66436.
