MILLER
DENISON- Robert "David" Miller, 64, of Denison, KS passed away Wednesday, September 3, 2008 at St. Francis Hospital in Topeka, KS. He was born June 23, 1944 in Frederick, MD the son of Samuel A. and Ruth L. Free Miller.
Mr. Miller graduated from Frederick High School in 1962. He served in the United States Air Force during Vietnam as a member of the Strategic Air Command. He worked at Holton Napa Auto Parts Store for 12 years. Mr. Miller has lived in the Denison community since 1983 and had previously lived in Topeka.
He married Barbara Anderson on August 1, 1970 in Topeka, KS. She survives. Other survivors include his sister, Barbara Wellington and husband Ron of Titusville, FL; a brother–in-law and sister-in-law, Jack and Charlene Anderson of Hoyt, KS; a niece, Lisa Wellington of Titusville, FL; two nephews, Gary Anderson and his wife Leslie of Meriden, KS, Doug Anderson and his wife Brandy of Netawaka, KS; two great nephews, Blake and Brock; two great nieces, Kacie and Taylor; an aunt, Grace Koehl of Frederick, MD; by marriage, his aunt, Ida Boyles of Denison, KS; his uncle, Gordon Kern of Mayetta, KS.
Mr. Miller was cremated. Graveside service will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 9, 2008 at the Denison Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to the Jackson County Humane Shelter or a charity of their choice sent c/o Mercer Funeral Home P.O. Box 270, Holton, KS 66436.
