David M. Mast

David Morgan Mast, 76, of Goff, KS, passed away Friday, March 27, 2026 at Amberwell Hiawatha Hospital. He was born February 4, 1950 in Lawrence, KS, the son of Herman, Jr. and Lorena E. (Camp) Mast.

David graduated from Lawrence High School and attended Ft. Scott Community College. He worked in maintenance a meat packing plant.

He enjoyed traveling the country as a Stock Contractor and available to help where needed at rodeos for most of his life. He also attended and worked several National Final Rodeos in Las Vegas.

David married Martha Fay Talley; they later divorced.

Survivors include his son, Lloyd “Michael” Mast (Molly L.) of Kansas City, MO; brother, Herman Mast III (Linda) of Winchester, VA; 2 grandsons, Carter and Lawson Mast and 2 nieces, Bronwyn and Erin Mast.
