Datha Dawn Sadler, 66, of Holton, KS passed away April 6, 2013 at St. Francis Hospital. She was born September 3, 1946 in Topeka, KS the daughter of Dean Carl and Dorothy Helen (Nussbeck) Stranberg.

Datha graduated from Topeka West High School in 1964 and had attended Clark's Business College in Topeka. She was a homemaker while her children were young and later worked for Pat Kellerman at Jackson County Title and Abstract and Dennis White at Title Abstract both in Holton. Datha retired in 2009 after working 17 years as Deputy at Register of Deeds in Holton. After retirement, she and her husband were foster parents. Datha was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church.

She married Ivan Lee Meyer on July 3, 1971 in Topeka, they were divorced. She later married Dennis Wayne Sadler on October 29, 2005 in Holton. He survives of the home. Other survivors include her mother, Dorothy Stranberg of Topeka, KS; her daughter, Angela Tadtman (Gregory) of Topeka, KS; 3 sons, John Meyer (Heidi) of Topeka, KS, William Meyer of Topeka, KS and Mark Meyer (Rebecka) of Cold Springs, KY; her brother, William 'Bill" Stranberg of Topeka, KS; her granddaughter, Jennifer Zein and her grandson, Boone Meyer.

Datha was preceded in death by her father, Dean Stranberg in 1993 and her sister, Mary Damron in 1978.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, April 11, 2013 at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Holton. Burial will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 12, 2013 at Greenwood Cemetery in Clay Center, KS. Family will greet friends from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Wednesday evening at the Mercer Funeral Home in Holton. Memorials may be given to the Trinity Lutheran Church c/o Mercer Funeral Home P.O.
