Topeka- Darryl "Squankot" Wayne Brown, 60, of Topeka, KS, passed away Sunday, January 16, 2022 at his home. He was born April 18, 1961 in Topeka, KS, the son of Richard L. & Mary (Wahweotten) Brown.

Darryl graduated from Seaman High School. He was a self-employed Painter for the majority of his life.

He was a member of the Prairie Band Potawatomi Nation. Darryl enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle, and fishing in his free time.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard & Mary Brown.

Darryl is survived by his brother, Allan L. Brown (Lydia) of Mayetta, KS; 2 nieces, Crystal Madrid (Jonny) of Topeka, KS and Melanie Witt of Topeka, KS; and 2 nephews, Michael Brown of Kansas City, KS and Anthony Christensen (Angel) of Topeka, KS.

Memorial Service will be 6:00 p.m. Friday, January 21, 2022 at Mercer Funeral Home. Private family inurnment at Wahwasuck Family Cemetery will be held at a later date.
