Daniel Robert "Danny" Smith, 59, of Circleville, KS, passed away unexpectedly, Tuesday, December 28, 2021 at his home. He was born May 3, 1962 in Topeka, KS, the son of Allen Kent Smith and Connie Marrs.

Danny graduated from Royal Valley High School. He worked for many years at Road and Bridge for Jackson County. He was a member of Holton American Legion Post 44.

He married Dee Bottleman; they later divorced. He married Dejanee Spencer; she preceded him in death on August 5, 2016 He was also preceded in death by his father, Allen Smith and step-father, Davis Scofield.

Survivors include his mother, Connie Scofield of Mayetta, KS; his 4 children, Justin Smith (Kayln) of Dudley, SC, Kristopher Smith (Kevin) of Topeka, KS, Angel Sanchez (Juan) of Holton, KS and Imani Smith of the home; 2 sister, Karen Rickel (Eric)and Marla Brandon both of Mayetta, KS; 2 brothers, Brad Smith (Hope) of Mayetta, KS and Jeff Smith (Denise) of Effingham, KS and 3 grandchildren, Greyson, Victoria and Ezekiel.
