Curtis Dale Kaler, 60, of Holton, KS,passed away Sunday, August 25, 2019 at the Midland Hospice House in Topeka, KS. He was born July 19, 1959 in San Jose, CA the son of Lawrence Edward Kaler and Betty (Higgins) Hower.

On November 18, 1995 in Whiting, KS, Curtis married Christina Marie Saunders. They shared over 23 years of marriage.

Curtis roofed houses most of his life. He also worked for ADS Distribution where he installed insulation.

He was preceded in death by 2 grandsons, Bentley & Abel Rupnicki.

Curtis is survived by his wife Christina of the home; father, Lawrence Kaler of California; mother, Betty Hower (Eldon) of Whiting, KS; 4 daughters, Anna Kaler of Horton, KS, Ashley Rue (Nathaniel Backer) of Fulton, MO, Michelle Willing (Andrew) of New London, MO and Danielle Kaler of Lawrence, KS; 1 son, Kyle Kaler of Holton, KS; 2 sisters, Brenda Diane Kaler and Tanna Trimmell of Utah; and 16 grandchildren.

Celebration of Life will be 12:00 p.m. (noon), Saturday, September 7, 2019 at Linscott Park in Holton. Mercer Funeral Home, P.O. Box 270, Holton, KS 66436 is assisting the family.
