Constance Sue Trusty, 65, Leavenworth, died Sunday, Jan. 25, 2015, at her home.
She was born May 14, 1949, at Leavenworth, the daughter of Thomas R. and Darlene I. Lancaster Trusty. She graduated from Leavenworth High School in 1967.
Connie had worked as a cook all of her life. She had owned Connie's Cafe in Lansing and had shared ownership of the Pullman Place Restaurant in Leavenworth. She had attended the Rock of Ages Church in Leavenworth.
She was a member in good standing of Alcoholics Anonymous for 33 years. It will never be known just how many lives Connie touched or people that she helped through her many selfless acts of kindness. She was a truly humble person.
Survivors include her brother, Joseph (Nancy) Trusty, Leavenworth; a half brother, Jessie Collins in Oklahoma; an aunt, Susie Osborn, Leavenworth; a cousin, Debbie Lavery, Lansing; several nieces and nephews; a great-nephew; and many cousins.
A Memorial Service will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 31, 2015, at the Rock of Ages Church, 1017 Randolph, Leavenworth. Inurnment will be at a later date at Sunset Memorial Gardens at Leavenworth.
