Clara May Pendleton, 90, of Holton, KS passed away Sunday, July 16, 2017 at her home. She was born February 27, 1927 in Waterloo, IA the daughter of Berton Lyman and Iva Dorena (Adams) Meloy.
Clara attended grade school and high school in Waterloo, IA. She was a homemaker and housewife.
She married Melvin Ernest Pendleton on April 1, 1951 in Topeka, KS. He preceded her in death on December 29, 1979.
Survivors include 3 daughters, Carol Morse of Divide, CO, Cheryl Ness (Keith) of Meriden, KS and Charlotte Brock (Stan) of Olsburg, KS; a son, Ed Pendleton of Holton, KS; 10 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 18, 2017 at the Mercer Funeral Home in Holton. Burial will follow in the West Lawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Topeka.
