Cindy Lynn Bottle, 81, of Canon City, CO, formerly of Holton, KS, passed away Friday, May 16, 2025 in Colorado. She was born March 8, 1944 in Ft. Riley, KS, the daughter of Walter and Ruth (Worth) Hirsch.

Cindy graduated from Golden High School in 1962 and she attended Colorado State University. She was a Budget Analyst for the Department of Interior for 34 years, retiring in 1996.

She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Holton. She was also involved with local politics, church, social and fraternal organizations.

Cindy had a love for Colorado and Holton communities. She raised Alpacas, horses and other livestock.

Cindy married Thomas F. "Rick" Bottle on May 15, 2005 in Canon City, CO. They celebrated over 20 years of marriage.

Survivors include her husband, Rick, of the home; 3 step-children; a sister, Judy Peterson of Canon City, CO; 9 grandchildren; 2 step-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Memorial Graveside Service will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, May 29, 2025 at the Holton Cemetery. Mercer Funeral Home in Holton is in charge of arrangements. Memorials may be given to the Heart of Jackson Humane Society c/o Mercer Funeral Home, P.O. Box 270, Holton, KS 66436.
