Charlotte G. Hollander, 79, of Holton, KS passed away Tuesday, June 6, 2017 at Medicalodge Jackson County. She was born October 17, 1937 in Whiting, KS the daughter of Henry R. and Helen L. (Irey) Brown.

Charlotte graduated from Whiting High School in 1955 and had attended Clark's School of Business. She was a homemaker and housewife. Charlotte also worked for the Menniger Foundation in Topeka for several years. Charlotte had attended The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses since 1967.

She married John F. Hollander on August 12, 1956 in Whiting, KS. He survives of the home. Other survivors include a daughter, Dianne Wake (Jim) of Muscotah, KS; a son, Dennis Hollander (Janice) of Holton, KS; 3 sisters, Beverly Searcy of Peoria, IL, Thelma Young of Las Vegas, NM and Shirley Martin on Fairfield, OH and 17 nieces and nephews.


She was preceded in death by her a son, David L. Hollander on January 6, 1964.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, June 12, 2017 at the Mercer Funeral Home in Holton, KS. She will lie in state beginning Friday afternoon at the funeral home.
